Coal Handling Systems

Cogeneration, and Process use. We make coal handling plants for boilers with sizes ranging from 5 TPH to 100 TPH of steam generation capacity.


This is the first part of the system and hence, it is essential to select the feeder after considering the following parameters :-
  • Feed size.
  • Ground Hopper size.
  • Location, and
  • Capacity.
Feeders could be reciprocating / vibrating / belt type.


We supply various types of crushers to suit to your application such as for :
  • Small capacities upto 5 TPH, gentle crushing with larger product size (10mm) less dust nuisance. – FOUR ROLL CRUSHERS.
  • Small capacities with 5 TPH and above with finer product size (6mm). – REVERSIBLE IMPACTOR TYPE HAMMER MILLS.
  • Capacities upto 100 TPH – 20mm product for grate firing or FBC firing – RING GRANULATOR TYPE OF MILLS.
  • Other requirements such as primary crushing, large feed size crushing, etc. – ROLL CRUSHERS, IMPACTORS.
The choice of crusher depends on the feed size of coal to the boiler.

Vibrating Screen

Prescreening is recommended when considerable percentage of the product exists in the Run-OF-Mine (ROM) coal. This is generally adopted for crushing capacities larger than 10 TPH, as it does have an effect on selection of crusher size.

Post crushing screening is a must, where it is detrimental to use unsized coal directly in the boilers.

Closed circuit operation demands proper size selection of screen.

We manufacture vibrating screens suited to our customer’s requirements either in trolley mounted design or stationary design as per application.

Conveying System

The constituents of this system are – Bucket Elevators, Belt Conveyors and Shuttle Conveyors. We can offer different types of conveying systems as per application as under :
  • Belt type conveyors, including refeeding bucket elevator.
  • Belt type conveyors and Bucket Elevators for bunker feeding as well refeeding.
